Living in ancient Egypt

On 2nd August 2010 Response & Abundance Arts presented the "Living in ancient Egypt" An inter-generational Summer Project

"During the two weeks young people were able to tap into their inherent curiosity and fascination for information about the way ancient Egyptians lived and their writing, symbolism and hieroglyphs and how we use symbols in modern times. They also had the opportunity to work alongside elderly members of the Pepper Pot Club and to go on several trips to the British and Victoria & Albert Museum.

Throughout the project "Abundance Arts" hosted the art and costume design workshops and at the end of the project an exhibition was held so that all the young people had the opportunity to show off their work to their friends and their peers. the project was a great success.
